Studied Central Technical College, Brisbane (now part of Queensland University of Technology)

1957 
Began teaching geometrical drawing, perspective, freehand drawing and colour study at Central Technical College, Brisbane

1958 
Married Shirley Rees. Lived at Gaythorne, Brisbane

1963-69 
Moved to Coorparoo, Brisbane. Teaching at Kedron Park Teaching College, Brisbane

1970-75 
Moved to Birkdale, near Brisbane. Teaching at Kelvin Grove Teachers' College, Brisbane

1975 
Moved to Toowoomba (for six months). Teaching at Darling Downs Institute of Advance Education

1976-82 
Returned to Birkdale. Teaching at North Brisbane College of Advanced Education

1982-89 
Teaching at Brisbane College of Advanced Education, Kelvin Grove Campus. Moved to Beechmont in 1984

1989 
Left teaching to become a full-time painter

1990 
Travelled to Europe visiting galleries in Athens, London, Venice, Paris, Milan and Rome

1994 
Moved to Kingscliff and the same year acquired the Springbrook studio. Travelled to Spain, Italy and France, visited Chartres Cathedral

1996 
Made lithographs in Paris at Atelier Bordas. Visited Belgium and The Netherlands

1998 
Made lithographs in Paris at Atelier Bordas. Visited St Petersburg and Greece

2000 
Made lithographs in Paris at Atelier Bordas. Travelled in Italy
