William Robinson: A Portrait of the Artist
On display now at the William Robinson Gallery at QUT's Gardens Point campus is 'William Robinson: A Portrait of the Artist', a comprehensive exhibition of William Robinson's self portrait paintings and etchings, including his two Archibald Prize winning pieces, Equestrian self portrait and Self portrait with stunned mullet. The exhibition will run through till mid 2012.William Robinson has generously donated his seven Archibald Prize entries to the William Robinson Gallery, all of which form part of the exhibition, and will now be held with the Gallery's collection.
The William Robinson Gallery is located in Old Government House, at QUT's Gardens Point campus, just off George Street in the Brisbane CBD. The Gallery is open Sunday to Friday, 10am to 5pm. Admission is free.
