Peter Boggs - The previous winner of the Tattersall and Kedumba prize presents an exhibition of new paintings. Boggs’ tonal works emphasize the stillness and sense of anticipation in the deserted towns and landscapes depicted.
Kathleen and Leonard Shillam - A retrospective exhibition of works from the estate of these significant Queensland sculptors. The Shillams were responsible for introducing Modernist sculpture to Queensland and their celebrated animals and figures are held in various collections around Australia.

Ken Johnson - Ken Johnson presents an exhibition of his surrealist inspired landscapes and interiors. Johnson’s work is influenced by his travels through India and the sparse regions of the Australian coastal landscape.

Jeffrey Smart - An exhibition of new works by one of Australia’s most significant living artists. Smart’s celebrated depictions of solitary figures in the urban landscape emphasize the traditional considerations of composition and technique. A new book on the artist by Christopher Allen will be launched at the same time as the exhibition.

Francis Giacco - The former Archibald prizewinner exhibits his detailed and lavishly furnished interior scenes and figurative studies. Giacco’s compositional technique and subjects are influenced by his studies in Vienna and extensive travels through Europe.

Vera Möller -Following a successful debut exhibition with the gallery in 2005, Vera Möller presents an exhibition of new paintings and sculptures. Moller’s fantastic underwater creations stem from the artist’s background in biology and scientific illustration.

Davida Allen - The former Archibald winner presents exhibits her autobiographical landscapes and self-portraits in her recognizable expressionistic style. Allen’s impasted paintings celebrate the artist’s beloved bushland of South East Queensland.

Lawrence Daws - To coincide with his eightieth birthday Lawrence Daws presents an exhibition of new paintings and older works from the last fifty years. Daws’ Glass House Mountain landscapes, water lilies and nudes are regarded as iconic Queensland images.

Michael Zavros - The debut exhibition at Philip Bacon Galleries of one of Queensland’s most exciting young painters. Zavros’ expressive and often fantastical figurative paintings, drawings and sculptures demonstrate a sophisticated technical capacity.
Tony White – The gallery presents a selection of new pieces by the internationally renowned Sydney jeweler.

Ralph Wilson - An exhibition of new works by the popular Brisbane based artist depicting the coast and waterways of Moreton Bay. Wilson’s works emphasize the effects of light and the changing moods of the coastal landscape.

Cressida Campbell - The Sydney based artist presents an exhibition of her stunning woodblocks and prints of still lifes and interiors. A 360 page monograph of Campbell’s work titled ‘The Woodblock Painting of Cressida Campbell’ will be launched at the exhibition opening.

June Tupicoff - Following a successful debut exhibition with the gallery in 2006, June Tupicoff presents an exhibition of new landscape paintings. Tupicoff’s works depict the subtle detail of the Australian landscape, from the desert of the Kimberly to the coastal bush of the ‘Wallum’.
